Godaddy Expired Domain Auction Picks for 1/10/2012

I think today's hand picked list of Godaddy expired domain auctions is better than yesterday's. Much stronger in terms of brandable domains but perhaps a little weaker when it comes to search volume. I've always been a proponent of search volume but I have to admit that high numbers in that regard don't always translate to more sales. DN Journal's sales charts usually reinforce that point to me.

My top pick would go to FriableAsbestos.com which I placed a bid on. It has decent search volume and an outrageous CPC value. This post is time sensitive. All of these domain auctions end today.

Namejet Pre-Release Domain Names For Jan 22nd

I'm back at work mining the NameJet pre-release domain name lists. I'm using the same criteria as the regular available domain lists that I post here. Hopefully you'll find something that you feel is worth the $60 minimum bid to obtain these domains.

My personal favorites are ConcordMassachusetts.com, DigitalConverterBoxes.com, Canoeing.tv and Cursors.mobi.

NameJet Pre-Release Domain Names For Jan 19th

Occasionally I like to data mine the NameJet pre-release domain name lists. I use the same process as I do on the drop lists that help create the available domain lists that I normally post on this blog. Some days turn up more than others but there is usually always something that catches my eye.

I thought the names listed below might appeal to some of you. Bids must be placed on these domains by 8pm (PST) Tuesday night in order to win them outright or participate in the auction if there are multiple bidders. If you're unfamiliar with NameJet domain auctions, a minimum bid of $69 must be placed to win a domain. If you're the only bidder, you win the domain at that price.

Verdict.org: No Reserve Auction at Bido.com

I wanted to test the Bido.com auction platform for domain sales. I decided to list Verdict.org. I felt it had a good chance to do really well there. I've been following the closing prices at Bido.com and the better domains seem to get some traction and bring in respectable prices. I'm taking a calculated risk. The auction for Verdict.org has no reserve with a starting price of only $28.

I purchased Verdict.org a few years ago in a Club Drop (now NameJet) auction. I had plans to turn it into a legal directory but other things have gotten in the way. I'd like to see the winner do something worthwhile with it and bring out the domains true potential.

Last Minute SnapNames Domain Auctions

This is the final day to pick up some nice keyword domains at wholesale domainer prices at my SnapNames auction. There are 164 domain names total. Only a third of them currently have bids so many can still be picked up at the starting price of $15. All auctions end at approximately 3pm today (Eastern Standard Time).

The following domains are on auction at SnapNames.com for a $15 starting price. Nearly all of them have a respectable amount of Google search volume on the terms that make up the domain. I wouldn't have bought them if they didn't. All auctions end on Tuesday, July 28th.
