Expired Domains Watchlist Jan-25

My expired domain watchlist for Wednesday, January 25th. PoorCreditFinancing.com looks like an obvious choice to me. The stats aren't as good as you'd think but it's a solid name in my opinion.

This list has a lot of good sounding names without the metrics to back them up. No big search volume EMD's in today's list. The calculator domain is but it's soooooo long. It probably requires development and seo. But then again, what doesn't in the drop lists?

The domains will drop between 2pm and 3pm Eastern USA time. If you really want one you should back order it. If it already has back orders you have no choice. Otherwise, wait until 2pm EST and start checking periodically. 50% of these will probably come through the drop and be available for hand registration around 3pm EST. If it's still not available by 3:15pm. You ain't getting it.

My Godaddy Expired Domain Auction Picks Jan-25

My Godaddy picks for expired domain auctions ending January 25th. A decent list really. CrossSiteScripting.com would make a great redirect for a "vulnerability management" company. No bids on that one at the time of this writing. CityOfLagunaBeach.com has a couple bids and could be a great asset. I like AtomicCircus.com for a new brand. ProtectTheJewels.com is funny and if you want to throw some money around you can take a stab at HealthReform.com

Other domains of note: YouLog.com, SaltWaterPoolMaintenance.com, FishingFan.com? Really? That's a great hobbyist domain with little attention so far.

.net Registered But .com Domain Available

I tried something a bit different with today's available domain list. The following unregistered keyword .com's all have something in common. They are all registered in the .net extension, and in some cases registered in other extensions too. In fact, a decent percentage of these available .com's have a developed website on their .net counterpart.

I thought some of you might like to hand register the .com's and attempt to flip them to the owners of the other extensions, especially the developed ones. I haven't attempted this myself, so the leads are fresh. I make no claims that you'll have success doing this but it sounds good in theory, especially if you price them to move in the under $100 range. The price to play is low considering they're all available for hand registration.

I didn't have time to check the development status of all the .net's. I did a quick quick of the first 25 and came across at least 5 developed .net sites in that bunch.
