The Domain Stock Exchange Fusu.com Premieres at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. West

Fusu.com The Domain Stock ExchangeFusu, the first Domain Stock Exchange, was scheduled for launch today at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. West by offering a list of premium generic domains with a combined value of almost $1.5 million.

By applying the concept of the traditional stock market to the domain name industry, Fusu enables the owners of premium domain names to offer a percentage of the domains ownership to other domain investors. This allows the domain owner to generate cash flow without losing control of the domain. Meanwhile, the investors who buy shares in the domain name are entitled to a percentage of the sales revenue once the domain is sold.

The Fusu platform allows owners of premium domain names to gain liquidity in their holdings while at the same time providing a means for smaller domain investors to stake a claim in premium domains that they otherwise, wouldn’t be able to afford by themselves.

Domain Names at Fusu will undergo an Initial Domain Offering Auction to help determine a market valuation. A few of the domains that are included for the Fusu launch are Warning.com, Ground.com, eel.com, Recycle.it, TopHotels.com, Hot.tv and Rick Schwartz’s Flowers.mobi which made headlines when purchased at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. 2007 for $200,000.
