Chitika is Considering a Domain Monetization Service

Chitika Domain MonetizationChitika, a contextual based advertising service which is very popular in the blogging community, is considering starting up a domain monetization service. Although a formal announcement has net been made, Chitika seems to be testing the waters by introducing the idea through a post on the company's blog made on March 6th.

The proposal appears to be a CPC model based off their already established ShopLinc platform. Chitika is currently gauging interest in the idea by conducting a poll contained within the blog post.

I'm sure it's no coincidence that this proposed service comes at a time when many in the Domain Industry have expressed their frustration with the recent decline in domain parking revenues. There is a lot of uncertainty in the market right now which presents a great opportunity for a company to implement a worthwhile solution. Head over to Chitika's Blog and cast your vote.
